Chris Swafford has held various roles in the IT industry since 2004. From 2004 to 2009, they were a Senior Systems Engineer at JV Industrial Companies, where they were responsible for server and infrastructure environment consisting of over 200 servers in Houston and over 30 branch offices worldwide. From 2009 to 2014, they were a Sr. Staff Systems Analyst at Universal Weather and Aviation, where they defined multi-year strategic planning for both technological and resource improvements, managed staff workloads and maintained weekly and periodic accountability for progress for a team of 11 as the dedicated team lead, and mentored staff on enterprise architecture and standards, and also administration and troubleshooting operations. From 2008 to 2014, they were a Senior Systems Engineer at Medidata Solutions, where they were a dedicated engineer for external client’s hosted Medidata custom n-tier application within the company datacenter, processed external client change requests for their dedicated environment, and conceived and developed graphical. Lastly, from 2014 to present, they have been a Consulting Architect at Fulcrum Technology Solutions, LLC, where they built a new Active Directory forest for central user, server and PC management for a specialized, isolated application, and supported detailed Active Directory cleanup efforts of a large multinational oil and gas company.
Chris Swafford obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University between 1999 and 2004. Chris then obtained a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Server Infrastructure certification from Microsoft in October 2014, followed by a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2012 certification in September 2014. In August 2017, they obtained a F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator certification from F5 Networks.
