Dana Wesolek, P.E. has worked in various roles for different companies since 1991. Dana began their career at the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering as a Civil Engineering Assistant/Sanitary Engineering Associate. In 1996, they became the President of Slurry Systems, Inc., where they managed all aspects of a nationwide specialty contractor. In 2001, they founded The Bodywork Institute, a community-centric environment offering services outside traditional allopathic medicine. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Developer at Fulcrum BioEnergy, Inc., where they are currently working on the development of the Centerpoint Biorefinery Plant in Gary, Indiana.
Dana Wesolek, P.E. completed a B.S. with Honors in Engineering (Environmental) from the University of Michigan in 1991. In 1995, they obtained a Professional Civil Engineer certification from the California Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. In the same year, they also obtained an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and ACE Certified Personal Trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness). In 2000, they obtained a Certificate of Massage Therapy from the Midwest Institute of Massage & Natural Therapeutics. In 2001, they obtained a STOTT Pilates Certified Instructor certification from Merrithew. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from the City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College through the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) program.
