Samuel Thompson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in programme management and higher education initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Programme Manager for UK Programmes at the US-UK Fulbright Commission since January 2018, Samuel has previously held roles as Programme Manager for UK Scholars and as a Programme Assistant for the Sutton Trust US Programme. Prior to this, Samuel worked as a Barista at Costa Coffee and served as a Telephone Campaign Caller for St. John's College Development Office, where engagement with alumni of the University of Cambridge was key. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degree in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Letters (MLitt) in Scandinavian Studies from the University of Aberdeen.
