Simone Canestrari's work experience includes serving as a EU Field Application Scientist at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Lonza from December 2018 to May 2021 as a Tech II, specializing in the manufacture of therapeutic grade monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins. Simone was trained to GMP standard in CHO cell culture and worked with miniature bioreactor systems. Additionally, Simone worked as a Research Scientist at ENGITIX LIMITED from May 2017 to July 2018.

Simone Canestrari's education history is as follows:

Simone began their education journey in 2011 at the Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology. They completed their undergraduate studies in 2014.

Following this, Simone enrolled at the Università degli Studi di Firenze and pursued a Master's Degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, starting in 2014 and finishing in 2016.

In 2015, Simone also undertook a traineeship at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, specifically in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, DENOTHE Centre.

After completing their master's degree, Simone embarked on research work as a Research Assistant at the Royal Free Hospital, Institute for Liver and Digestive Health, affiliated with University College London (UCL) from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Simone has obtained various certifications. Notably, they obtained certificates in fields such as Customer Segmentation and Prospecting, Securing Investment Returns in the Long Run, Meeting Investors' Goals, Portfolio and Risk Management, and Understanding Financial Markets from Coursera.
