Chandana Sharma's work experience begins in 2007 when they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. In 2008, they transitioned to the role of Senior Scientist at SAFC Biosciences, a division of Sigma-Aldrich. Chandana then became a Principal Scientist at SAFC Biosciences in 2010. In 2016, they joined MilliporeSigma as the Director of Raw Materials Upstream R&D. After working there for three years, they moved to FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific in 2019 as the Director of BioProduction, Cell and Gene Therapy. In 2021, they were promoted to Sr. Director, Life Sciences at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific.
Chandana Sharma has a strong educational background in the field of chemistry. Chandana completed their Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Arizona between 2001 and 2006. Prior to that, they pursued an M.Sc in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, from 1998 to 2000. Chandana's undergraduate studies were focused on Chemistry (Hons.), which they pursued from 1995 to 1998 at Delhi University-Miranda House.
