Oigen Blankert is an experienced professional in maritime connectivity and IT management, currently serving as the Service Delivery Manager for Connectivity at Fugro since October 2018. In this role, Oigen specializes in connectivity solutions including satellite, 5G/4G/LTE, and WiFi for the maritime industry, while also managing IT operations and support across various operational projects. Oigen has held several managerial and project management positions throughout a diverse career, including roles at Van Wijngaarden Marine Services and Captain Blanc, where IT consultancy and maritime communication support are provided. Previous experience includes significant positions at Speedcast, Netwave Systems, Admarel BV, Royal Dirkzwager, and Radio Holland, where Oigen developed maritime telecommunications solutions. Educational background includes studies at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, under the tutelage of Marinus A. Potter.
