Claudio Costamagna joined the Board of Directors at FTI Consulting, Inc. in 2012 and serves as Chair of the Compensation Committee.
Mr. Costamagna is currently Chairman of CC e Soci S.r.l., a financial advisory boutique he founded in June 2007, and Chairman of the Board of REVO SpA, a company focused on the specialty line insurance market, listed on the AIM Milan Market.
He is a Board Member of Ferragamo Finanziaria SpA, a private company managing the Ferragamo family’s stake in Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A., an Italian luxury goods group, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange and a Board Member of Finarvedi SpA, parent company of Arvedi Group, a leader in the European steelmaking industry.
From July 2015 to July 2018, he was Executive Chairman of Cassa depositi e prestiti S.p.A., the Italian National Promotion Institution and largest Italian Stock Exchange investor. For 18 years until April 2006, Mr. Costamagna served in various positions within The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., culminating as Chairman of the Investment Banking division in Europe, Middle East and Africa from December 2004 to March 2006.
Mr. Costamagna was also the Chairman of the Board of Advanced Accelerator Applications S.A. (“AAA”), a French biotechnology company, which was listed on NASDAQ in May 2015 and subsequently acquired in January 2018 by Novartis.
Mr. Costamagna is a former Chairman of Salini-Impregilo and a former director of Il Sole 24 Ore S.p.A., Luxottica Group, Bulgari S.p.A., Autogrill S.p.A., companies that were or are listed on the Italian Stock Exchange and Virgin Holding B.V.I.
Mr. Costamagna holds a business economics degree from Università Bocconi and is a member of the International Advisory Council of the University. Previously he was President of Università Bocconi's Alumni Association.
