Zarana Sanghani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community development, social justice, and philanthropy. Currently serving as Associate Director at FSG since January 2023, Zarana previously held the position of Principal Consultant at ZS Strategies, where services included program design and strategic planning. As Acting Executive Director of the Center for Urban Transformation, Zarana oversaw various strategic initiatives and partnerships for a collaboration of organizations. In a prior role as Chief Program Officer at the Fifth Ward Community Redevelopment Corporation, Zarana managed holistic neighborhood revitalization efforts and designed innovative programs. Zarana’s background also includes significant contributions at LISC NYC and the NYC Department of Small Business Services, focusing on community development and workforce initiatives. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Houston.
