Amr Ahmed is a Computer Vision Software Architect at Fruitful Solutions since December 2021, specializing in designing algorithms for fruit sorting and grading using technologies such as OpenCV, C++, Python, and MATLAB. Prior to this role, Amr served as the Head of Algorithms Development at NARSS from June 2009 to March 2022, where responsibilities included developing algorithms for various satellite models, focusing on image encryption, compression, and machine learning for fast processing. Previously, Amr was the Chief Design Engineer at FRC Corp (June 2005 - September 2008), designing avionics power supply components, and held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Broadband Central USA (May 2004 - June 2005), working on wireless communications technology. Earlier experience includes leading the ISO9001 certification project at FRC Corp as a Lead Project Engineer (May 2001 - May 2004). Amr Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Higher Technological Institute.
