April Meyer, CISSP, has a diverse background in information security with over 10 years of experience. April is currently working as an Information Security Consultant/vCISO at FRSecure since November 2020. Prior to this, April was a Lead IT Security Specialist| IT Security Risk at Sanford Health from June 2020 to November 2020.

From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Sr. Information Systems Security Officer at WPS Health Solutions. During this time, April was responsible for ensuring the security of sensitive data and systems for Medicare contracts.

Before that, April worked at Noridian Mutual Insurance from 2014 to 2017 as a Security Team Lead and from 2012 to 2014 as an Enterprise Security Analyst II. April also gained experience at Noridian Administrative Services, LLC from 2012 to 2012 as an Enterprise Security Analyst I and from 2007 to 2012 as a Provider Enrollment Specialist.

April Meyer, CISSP has a diverse and well-rounded education history. In 2008, they pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Network Security & Forensics from Rasmussen College-North Dakota, which they completed in 2010. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2005, they attended Minnesota State University, Moorhead, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music.

In addition to their academic achievements, April Meyer has obtained several certifications. In July 2015, they received the GSLC certification from GIAC Certifications. In November 2012, they obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA, followed by the CASP (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) certification from the same institution in March 2013. April'smost recent certification is the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), which they obtained in January 2018 from (ISC)², also known as ISC2. Additionally, they obtained the Certified vCISO - Level 3 certification from SecurityStudio in October 2022.
