Brian Cahill has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Brian began their career in 1995 as an IT Specialist/Consultant for the Ladage Cahill Clinic, where they improved network security and reliability using wired and wireless solutions, and conserved resources by helping staff maintain and utilize current equipment. In 2002, they became the Database/Network Administrator for the International ALERT Academy, designing a custom solution for data management using SQL Server. In 2003, they became a Systems Administrator for Just Balance Networks, designing websites to expand the outreach of existing programs and customizing open source programs. In 2007, they became the IT Manager for Nexstar Broadcasting, responsible for planning and implementing a centralized network for 31 locations with redundant routing over MPLS and ISP networks. In 2012, they became the IT Manager for Lynntech, Inc. and in 2016 they became the Head of IT for Frogslayer, partnering with select clients to rapidly build, launch, and scale software products.
Brian Cahill has an extensive educational background. Brian began their studies in 1998 at the International ALERT Academy, where they obtained a Technical degree in Leadership and Management. Brian then attended North Tennessee Bible Institute from 2003 to 2007, where they completed a BA in Biblical Counseling and Disaster Relief. In 2007, they continued their studies at Northcentral University, where they obtained an MBA/MIS in Management Information Systems. Brian also obtained several certifications, including LPIC-1, LPIC-2, MCSE, MCDBA, MCDST, Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, PSM I, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), MySQL 5.0 Database Administrator, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (SOA), and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA).
