Cassandra M. DuBose has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Cassandra M. began their career in 2006 as a Registered Nurse at Frio Regional Hospital, where they worked in various departments such as Emergency, Medsurg, OB, and Tele. In 2017, they became the Director of Emergency and Trauma Services, also serving as the DSRIP Team Lead. Later, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Nursing and Clinical Operations, and recently, in December 2022, they assumed the position of Chief Nursing Officer at Frio Regional Hospital.
In 2016, Cassandra joined Nix Health Care System as a Director of Emergency Services and Director of the Intensive Care Unit. Cassandra M. also worked as a Registered Nurse during their time at Nix Health Care System. Additionally, Cassandra has experience working at Nix Community General Hospital, where they were the Director of Nursing Services, Trauma Nurse Coordinator, and ED Nurse Manager from 2013 to 2016.
Prior to their roles at Nix, Cassandra worked at CHRISTUS Health as an ED-RN at Westoverhills San Antonio from 2009 to 2013.

Cassandra M. DuBose completed their education with a High School Diploma from Pearsall High School in 2001. Cassandra M. then pursued higher education at San Antonio College from 2001 to 2006, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Registered Nursing. Following their associate degree, they enrolled in Chamberlain University from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Continuing their educational journey, from 2020 to 2022, they attended Chamberlain University once again and achieved a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a specialization in Executive Leadership.
