Michael Sayman has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and companies. Michael is currently the Founder & CEO of a startup called Friendly Apps, which aims to help people connect in ways that promote mental health and physical well-being. Michael successfully raised a $3M seed round for the company and has secured support from prominent investors.
Prior to Friendly Apps, Michael worked as an Author and published an autobiography with Penguin Random House in 2021. The book, available in English and Spanish, sheds light on their career and life.
Michael also served as a Product Advisor at Things, Inc. and as a Senior Product Manager & Designer, Social & Graph, at Roblox. At Google, they held the positions of Product Manager II & Designer and Senior Software Engineer from 2017 to 2020.
Before Google, Michael worked at Facebook, where they had multiple roles. As a Product Manager & Designer, they collaborated with the executive team and an engineering team to create innovative products targeting the teenage demographic. Michael played a significant role in the development of various popular features across Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Facebook.
Earlier in their career, Michael gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Facebook and as a Software Engineer at their own company, Michael Sayman. Michael developed numerous iOS applications that received widespread acclaim and were featured on notable platforms such as CNN International and ABC News.
Additionally, Michael founded and managed 4 Snaps, an iOS app that they programmed, designed, and promoted to achieve top chart rankings in the App Store.
