Julie Cordier is a PhD student specializing in Molecular Biology at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research since September 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Technician in Regulatory Genomics at SciLifeLab, focusing on the genetics of cardiovascular disease, and completing a Masterā€™s Thesis involving the validation of enhancers associated with cardiovascular disease using CRISPR. Notable projects include developing a modular biosensor for the iGEM competition to detect environmental pollutants, and conducting research during an R&D internship at Saint-Gobain PAM Canalisation France, where Julie improved resilience testing for ductile iron pipes. Julie Cordier's educational background includes an MSc in Medical Biotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and an engineering degree from Chimie ParisTech - PSL, complemented by extensive laboratory and research experience.
