Wouter Leistra has worked in the digital services industry since 2007. Wouter began their career as a Trainee at Parallelbouw B.V. in 2006, conducting market research and application development. In 2007, they joined Tieto as a Consultant for User Experience and held roles as Lead Interaction Designer, Senior User Interface Designer, and Consultant for User Experience (Interaction Designer). In 2019, they moved to Freska, where they are currently the Product Owner and Sr. Product Designer. In this role, they are responsible for product owner of service worker and customer care in-house products and line manager of the product development team for internal focused products. Wouter also gathers requirements, aligns and creates global business processes related workforce management, and designs service and interaction for the team's products.

Wouter Leistra obtained a Bachelor in Business Information Technology from NHL Hogeschool between 2003 and 2007. Wouter then obtained a Psychology of Interaction Design certification from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) in March 2015. Wouter is currently enrolled in the Psychology of Interaction Design program at The Interaction Design Foundation.
