Cheree Gemmell is a Senior Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, currently on secondment in the New York office, collaborating with the Private Capital and M&A teams since September 2017. Prior to this role, Cheree served as Senior Associate and Legal Counsel at Mubadala Capital from January 2022 to November 2022, focusing on private equity legal matters. Cheree began a legal career as a Solicitor at Maclay Murray & Spens LLP from August 2013 to July 2017, specializing in corporate law and initially underwent training as a Trainee Solicitor. Cheree holds a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Glasgow Caledonian University.
