Robert O'Herlihy (ACA, FPAC) is an experienced finance leader with a successful career history. Robert began their professional career in 2012 at AIB as a Corporate Banking Intern, where they were nominated for the office's monthly 'Inspire Me' award on multiple occasions. In 2015, they joined KPMG Ireland as a Senior Associate - Deal Advisory - Restructuring and Forensics, where they were the main point of contact for clients on various insolvency cases. In 2019, they joined Fresh Tracks Canada Inc. as the Financial Planning Analyst, where they were responsible for the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process. In 2020, they became the company's most senior finance leader during the pandemic-induced downturn in the travel industry. In May 2021, they were promoted to Director of Finance and became leader of the newly merged Accounting & Finance department.
Robert O'Herlihy has a comprehensive education history. In 2004, they completed their Leaving Certificate at Presentation Brothers College, Cork. From 2010 to 2014, they attended University College Cork, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a field of study in Accounting and Finance. In 2014, they completed a Master of Accounting at the same institution. In 2018, they became an Associate Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland. In 2020, they obtained Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services. In 2021, they became a Certified Corporate FP&A Professional with the Association for Financial Professionals. Robert is currently working towards a Certified Corporate FP&A Professional designation with the same institution, which they are expected to complete by 2024.
