Sandhya Reju Boyd currently serves as General Counsel for The Fresh Air Fund since February 2024. Previously, Sandhya held the position of General Counsel at RiseBoro Community Partnership where responsibilities included overseeing legal, compliance, and risk management functions for a large New York City non-profit. Sandhya has extensive experience at Legal Services NYC, with roles including Acting Director of Grants and Contracts and Director of Housing, where management and supervision of housing staff were key responsibilities. As the Executive Director of Brooklyn Jubilee, Sandhya founded a non-profit offering legal services and disaster relief after Hurricane Sandy. Sandhya's legal career began as a Staff Attorney at South Brooklyn Legal Services, with subsequent positions emphasizing housing law, advocacy, and team leadership. Sandhya earned a Doctor of Law degree from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The George Washington University.
