Christof Koester is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the medical technology sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President & General Counsel Global Medical Technology at Fresenius Medical Care since October 2009. In this role, Christof has been instrumental in establishing the Global Legal Medical Technology organization. Previous positions at Fresenius include Senior Vice President & General Counsel EMEA and Vice President & General Counsel EMEA, where leadership of large legal teams across multiple countries was a key focus. Christof's earlier career includes significant roles at leading law firms, including P+P Pöllath + Partners and Debevoise & Plimpton, specializing in corporate law, M&A, and tax structuring.
