Lucas Nicieza Moro

Magnetics Design Engineer at Frenetic

Lucas Nicieza Moro has been working in the engineering field since 2009. Lucas began their career as a Leisure and Free-time Activities Instructor at Granja Escuela Palacio de la Bouza and a National Athletics Instructor at Club Oviedo Atletismo. In 2015, they began working as a Trainee Engineer and then an Engineer at the Industrial Safety Department at Applus Norcontrol. In 2017, they started working as a Research Assistant at Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), where they designed and developed a bidirectional buck-boost converter able to reduce the low frequency voltage ripple that appears in the DC link of AC/DC converters. Lucas also began working as a Magnetics Design Engineer at Frenetic.

Lucas Nicieza Moro obtained their Electrical engineering degree from the Universidad de Oviedo in 2011-2015, studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Lucas then went on to obtain their Electrical Energy Conversion and Power Systems Master Degree from the same university between 2015-2017, also studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
