Katie Hunter is an accomplished English teacher currently employed at the French American International School in San Francisco, CA since August 2021. With a diverse background in education, Katie has previously worked as a teacher for adults at Five Keys Schools and Programs, an academic specialist at Drew School, and has held various roles in content creation and strategy, including as a writer, educator, and content strategist under their own brand. Notably, Katie has extensive experience in special education, having served as the Special Education Department Head at San Francisco Unified School District. An alumnus of Davidson College, Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and advanced degrees in Special Education and Creative Writing from Loyola Marymount University and San Francisco State University, respectively.
