Marie Barrue is a professional sailor with significant achievements and experience in competitive sailing. Since January 2012, Marie has represented the Fédération Française de Voile and has been a prominent competitor, earning titles such as Championne de France Elite in 2015, 2018, and 2019, and Vice-Championne d’Europe jeune and du Monde jeune in 2014. From 2013 to 2016, Marie consistently ranked in the top 10 at the junior level and achieved top 20 status globally in senior competitions since 2017, securing 5th place at the senior World Championships in 2019. Recognized as a High-Level Athlete in the Elite category on ministerial lists, Marie is currently in training for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In addition to athletic pursuits, Marie obtained a Master's degree from the Institut de Formation en Masso-Kinésithérapie de Marseille between 2015 and 2020.
