Michael Tate is COO & SVP Global Sales and Marketing for FreeWave Technologies. With 30 years of successful C-level experience at major multinational technology organizations, Mr. Tate has a proven track record in building profitability and governance in both public and privately traded companies. In his current position at FreeWave, he will play a central role in building and executing the global sales vision and growing the company’s broad portfolio of radio, IIoT, and new Edge computing platforms for industrial enterprises. Following a career in military intelligence, Michael held progressive executive management roles with increasing levels of responsibility in sales, business development, strategy and execution, and procurement.

Before joining FreeWave, he headed M Tate Solutions, a management consulting firm that delivered integrated strategic solutions to C-level clients on strategic roadmaps, global supply chain, product sourcing, business development, and equity investments.
