Kiara Briana Horton has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. In 2017 and 2018, they served as a Field & Operations Intern at Gibbs Construction. From 2019 to 2019, they were a Student Intern at Fenstermaker. More recently, in 2020, Kiara joined Freese and Nichols as an Environmental Science & Coastal Engineering Intern before transitioning to the role of Environmental Science & Coastal Engineering EIT.

Kiara Briana Horton earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Orleans between the years 2016 and 2020.
