Garett Spencer

Water And Wastewater Master Planning Engineer at Freese And Nichols, Inc.

Garett Spencer has a diverse range of work experience. Garett started their career as a Kitchen Staff at Benchmark Food Group in 2017, where they worked until May 2018. During the same period, they also worked as a Counselor at Camp Ozark, mentoring and overseeing various areas of operation.

In 2018, Garett joined the University of Oklahoma as a Research Assistant in Dr. Robert Shambaugh's polymer processing lab, where they focused on researching the impact of louvers on the melt blowing process. Garett worked there until May 2019.

Garett then interned at Audubon Companies in 2019 as a Process Engineering Intern. Following this, they worked at Fischer Construction Inc from October 2020 until April 2022. At Fischer Construction, Garett held the role of Field Engineer and Project Engineer for water treatment plant projects. Their responsibilities included GPS surveying, building layout, heavy equipment operation, carpentry, framing, pipe-laying, excavation, subcontractor management, stormwater management, project submittals, construction drawing analysis, as-builts, data evaluation, scheduling, and assistant superintendent work.

Currently, Garett is working at Freese and Nichols as a Water and Wastewater Master Planning Engineer, starting in April 2022.

Garett Spencer completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, where they attended from 2017 to 2020. Before that, they attended McLennan Community College from 2016 to 2017 and obtained an Associate's degree in Natural Sciences. In 2015, Garett briefly attended Kansas State University, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, but did not complete the program.
