Christopher Shockey is an experienced educational administrator with a career spanning over two decades in various educational roles. Currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources at Freeport School District 145 since July 2015, Christopher previously held the position of Assistant Regional Superintendent at Regional Office of Education #08 from July 2013 to June 2015. Christopher's extensive experience in leadership includes roles as District Administrator at Forrestville Valley Community Unit School District #221, where responsibilities encompassed Dean of Students, Elementary Principal, and Secondary Principal from 2000 to 2013. Prior to that, Christopher worked as a Middle School Physical Education Teacher at Polo School District #222 and began a career in education at Corning School District as a Middle School Teacher. Christopher holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Western Illinois University and multiple Bachelor's degrees from Luther College in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching.
