Laura S. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the cannabis extraction industry and forensic science. At Rhize, Laura served as an Extraction Specialist/Consultant from March 2022 to May 2023. Prior to that, Laura held various roles at Tweed Inc., including Extraction Manager, Operations Manager for Extraction, Extraction Supervisor, and Extraction Technician, where significant contributions included process improvements, team training, and maintaining product integrity. Earlier in career, Laura worked at Dynacare as a Certifying Scientist and Forensic Technologist, achieving high accuracy and throughput in test result reporting. Educational background includes dual Bachelor’s degrees in Integrated Science with a specialization in Forensic Science and in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a focus on Psychology, both from Carleton University.
