Aparamita Pandey

Aparamita Pandey, PhD, serves as an Assistant Project Scientist at UCLA since December 2020, focusing on the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms of metabolic adaptation and therapy resistance in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Prior to this role, Aparamita served as a Senior Postdoctoral employee and Career Counselor at Freedom Employability Academy, providing career counseling and English language training in India. Aparamita has also held leadership positions, including President of the University Apartments South Residents' Association at UCLA and Community Garden Supervisor, managing various initiatives and operations. Aparamita's extensive research background includes postdoctoral positions at prominent institutions such as City of Hope and DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, following a PhD in molecular biology from the Indian Institute of Science and a Master's in Human/Medical Genetics from Banaras Hindu University.
