Margaret Renaud-Young is an experienced project manager and scientist currently managing the development of future technologies and assay improvements at FREDsense Technologies since April 2014, where involvement began during the iGEM competition in 2011. Margaret has also served as the Genomics Team Lead at BioAro Inc. and as a Research and Development Project Manager and Clinical Lab Manager at CardiAI.Inc. Prior experience includes a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Calgary focused on electrochemical biosensors, particularly in developing a THC sensor. Margaret holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Calgary and advanced degrees in Developmental Biology and Cancer Biology from the University of Alberta.
