Mateo Mendez is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in the field of woodwinds. Currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer in Woodwinds at the State University of New York at Fredonia since August 2024, Mateo has also been a member of the Bozeman Symphony in the role of English Horn/Third Oboe since August 2022. Prior to these positions, Mateo was the Manager of Education & Community Engagement for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra from August 2022 to July 2024 and worked as a Senior Sales Associate at Music & Arts from August 2021 to August 2022. Academic qualifications include a Master of Music in Oboe Performance from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University (August 2020 - May 2022) and a Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance from SUNY Fredonia (August 2017 - May 2019).
