David Starrett is currently the Executive Vice President and Provost at the State University of New York at Fredonia. Prior to this position, David worked as the Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Franklin Pierce University and as the Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Columbia College. David also served as a Dean at Southeast Missouri State University for 20 years. David holds a Ph.D. in Botany/Plant Biology from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Southern California.
