Unna Burns currently serves as a Therapeutic Behavioral Services Coach at Fred Finch Youth & Family Services, a position held since September 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Respite Worker at Tri-Counties Regional Center, providing care for foster youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and volunteering as an Event Coordinator with Family Care Network, Inc., where Unna coordinated logistics for fundraising events. Previous roles include a Direct Service Intern, offering support to youth and families affected by trauma, and a Certified Peer Health Educator at PULSE, delivering health education at Cal Poly. Additionally, Unna gained research experience as a Research Assistant in the Psychology & Child Development Department at Cal Poly and worked as an Inclusion Aide at West Suburban Special Recreation Association. Unna holds a degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completing studies in 2024.
