Alea Bever has extensive work experience at Fraser Health Authority. In 2023, they took on the role of Director, Clinical Operations. Prior to that, they held various positions at the company, including Director, Clinical Operations from 2020 to 2022, Clinical Operations Manager for the Primary Care Network from 2019 to 2020, Clinical Operations Manager from 2017 to 2019, Registered Nurse from 2005 to 2017, Patient Care Coordinator from 2014 to 2017, Emergency Room Nurse from 2007 to 2017, and Patient Care Coordinator from 2011 to 2014.

Alea Bever has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical and Ancient Studies from The University of British Columbia (1998-2003). Alea then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Alberta (2003-2005). Alea later pursued a Certificate in Emergency Nursing Specialty from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (2006-2007). Their education culminated with a Master of Public Health degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London (2010-2015).
