Joachim Rommel has extensive experience in IT and project management, currently serving as a Senior IT-Portfolio Manager and Senior Manager for Control Center Systems at Fraport AG since August 2011. Prior roles at Fraport AG include Manager of Control Center Systems and Senior Product Solution Developer/Project Manager, focusing on airport control center and security systems. Previous experience includes serving as Project Manager for R&D at Avaya from July 2004 to July 2011, and earlier positions as a Software Engineer at Tenovis and Bosch Telecom, specializing in DECT and Bluetooth technologies. Joachim Rommel holds a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree in Nachrichtentechnik from Fachhochschule Dieburg, earned between 1993 and 1997.
