Hendrik Driessen has extensive experience in the arts and museum sector, currently serving as a board member and member of the advisory board at Vereniging Rembrandt since June 2021. Driessen has been a board member at Huis Marseille since January 1997 and a member of the supervisory board at Frans Hals Museum since June 2017. Further contributions include curatorial work at Biënnale Kunst in de Heilige Driehoek from July 2019 to July 2023 and serving on the supervisory board of Manifesta International Foundation from July 2015 to July 2021. Driessen held the position of director at Museum De Pont in Tilburg from March 1989 until June 2019 and served as interim director and chief curator at Van Abbemuseum from February 1986 to March 1989. Additionally, Driessen was a curator at Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam from April 1978 to February 1986 and worked as a curator at Gemeentemuseum Arnhem from July 1977 to April 1978.
