Gelati Ting started their work experience in 2008 as a Human Resources Trainee at RBS Coutts. Gelati then worked as a Global Mobility Advisory Team Trainee at Ernst & Young in 2009. In 2010, Gelati joined PwC as a Global Mobility Specialist, where they worked until 2012. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Marketing Director at KALEIDOSCOPE. In 2016, Gelati became a Co-Founder & COO at Frankly Bubble Tea & Coffee.

Gelati Ting's education history includes a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics and Management in Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment, which they obtained from Università Bocconi from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business, Transportation and Logistics at The University of British Columbia from 2004 to 2008. In 2007, Gelati also completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Additionally, Gelati obtained an Advanced Diploma in Commercial Design from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in September 2012. Gelati also holds a certification in Goethe-Zertifikat B2 from the Goethe Institut, which was obtained in the year 2010.
