Frank Hewins, Ed.D., is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Executive Director and Principal of Spring Academy since July 2019. In addition, Frank has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Franklin Pierce Foundation since February 1997. Frank held the position of President of the Board of Directors at the Arivva Center for Arts & Technology from August 2016 to December 2022, and previously served as Chair of the WA State School Safety Center Advisory from 2011 to July 2019. Frank was a Board Member for Junior Achievement of Washington from 2007 until July 2019 and retired after a long tenure as Superintendent of the Franklin Pierce School District, where service began in August 1988. Frank holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Washington State University, a Master of Arts in Ed. Administration/Special Education from Pacific Lutheran University, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science/Secondary Education from Frostburg State University.
