Dr. Thomas Wagner is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in senior leadership roles, currently serving as Group CFO and COO at Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft Gruppe since July 2013. In addition to being a member of the Executive Board, Dr. Wagner holds positions such as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board for Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft (Deutschland) AG and a Board Member for Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft (Schweiz) AG. Previous experience includes a role as Adjunct Lecturer in International Financial Reporting at ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, and a Senior Manager at Deloitte Switzerland, where Dr. Wagner led audit engagement teams and conducted regulatory audits for financial institutions. Early career experience encompasses internal audit management at Kuehne + Nagel Management AG and audit senior roles at Deloitte Germany. Dr. Wagner earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Portsmouth and holds degrees in Business Administration and European Business from ESB Business School and Dublin City University, respectively.
