Matt Townend is a finance professional with extensive experience in various roles within the finance sector. Currently, Matt serves as Finance Commercial Manager at PKF-Francis Clark Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers since January 2022. Additionally, Matt has been a Finance Business Partner at the University of Plymouth since September 2018, where responsibilities include supporting the Faculty of Science and Engineering and influencing strategic decision-making through financial analysis. Prior to this, Matt was a Corporate Finance Manager at Bishop Fleming Chartered Accountants from September 2010 to August 2018, and briefly worked as a Financial Process Planning Assistant at the University of Exeter in 2010. Matt holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Exeter and has completed A Levels in several subjects at Thomas Mills High School.
