Derek Shirley is a skilled IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and security management. Currently serving as the Director of Infrastructure and Security at francesca’s® since October 2019, Derek has held multiple roles within the company, including Sr Manager of Infrastructure and Security. Prior to this, Derek was the Sr Manager IT at PrimeFlight Aviation Services for most of 2019 and has a long history at francesca’s® spanning from 2012 to 2019 in various infrastructure management positions. Earlier career experience includes working as a Delivery Manager at Lowe's Companies, Inc., where Derek managed a team and was responsible for training employees on equipment usage. Derek is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Network Operations and Security at Western Governors University, expected to graduate in 2024, and holds an Associate of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from Central Texas College.
