Jose Gerel is a highly experienced cinematographer and director of photography with a diverse portfolio in television and film. Currently serving as Directeur de la photo for "Un si grand soleil" at france.tv studio since March 2022 and as Directeur de la photographie for the series at BIG BAND STORY since May 2018, Jose has also worked as Chef opérateur on a documentary about Iggy Pop for Canal +. Additional roles include Directeur de la photographie for long features with C.AV prod and advertising projects with FFTProd, and technical scouting for Pepa production. Past experience includes working on several TV series and documentaries. Jose's education from INAsup, École nationale supérieure Louis Lumière, and IIIS further supports a strong foundation in cinematography.
