Mauro Giacomazzo is an experienced Technical Director specializing in creature and character rigging, currently serving as a CFX TD at Framestore since May 2024. Previously, Mauro held the position of Head of Rigging at Untold Studios from September 2021 to May 2024, and served in various roles at Industrial Light & Magic including Creature Supervisor and Lead Creature TD from March 2016 to September 2021. Further experience includes Creature TD roles at Double Negative and DreamWorks Animation, where notable projects included "Trolls," "Kung Fu Panda 3," and "Home." Mauro's earlier career involved significant contributions at Framestore CFC and Eurocom, focusing on character and prop rigging, technical animation, and production pipeline development.
