Julie Ludwig is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in film distribution and production. Currently serving as Senior Distribution Manager at Frameline since October 2021, Julie previously held the role of Distribution & Educational Programming Manager at the same organization. Prior to this, Julie worked as a Distribution Coordinator at Elephant Path Film, where Julie created marketing strategies for documentary films targeted at educational and cultural institutions. Julie has also served as a Documentary Filmmaker at KANTA Collaborative, producing video content for various non-profits and corporate clients. Additionally, Julie has experience in editorial roles at Vox Media and Verizon Media, and has worked as a Program Manager at Paper Tiger Television and a Video Producer/Editor at Deep Dish TV. Julie holds a Certificate in Cinematography from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and a double Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Film and Media Studies from the University of Florida.
