Hye Lam has several years of work experience, starting in 2003 as a Counter Manager at Macy's. They then worked as a Temporary Cisco Project Assistant and Temporary I-9 Assistant at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy in 2004. From 2005 to 2014, they held the role of I-9 Specialist Supervisor at the same company, as well as working as an I-9 Specialist during a brief period. In 2014, Hye Lam became a Client Services Manager at Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, where they stayed until 2016. In 2016, they joined WVSG at Tesla Manufacturing as a Recruiting Operations professional, providing recruiting services and assisting with onboarding processes. Finally, in 2017, Hye Lam became an Account Manager at Fragomen.

Hye Lam attended Southern New Hampshire University from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management. Hye Lam also attended San Jose State University from 2000 to 2002, although they did not complete a degree during that time. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Human Resources Management from Southern New Hampshire University in November 2019.
