Sophie Aylmer is an experienced professional in policy development and advocacy with a focus on animal welfare and nutrition. Currently serving as Head of Policy for Farm Animals and Nutrition at FOUR PAWS since January 2021, Sophie previously held positions such as Policy Advisor for Eurogroup for Animals and Political Advisor, as well as a Parliamentary Researcher at the European Parliament, where coordination of legislative efforts for animal welfare was a key responsibility. Additional experience includes work as a Senior Policy Researcher in the House of Commons, supporting parliamentary committees and developing policy positions, as well as contributions to various organizations like Tzedek and Mitzvah Day, emphasizing community development and social action. Sophie holds a Master of Arts in History Language and Culture from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and French from the University of Leeds.
