Deniz Kent, PhD, is a prominent figure in the fields of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine, currently serving as a Founders Pledge Member and an Unreasonable Fellow since June 2024. As Co-founder and CEO of Prolific Machines Inc. since October 2020, Deniz leads the company while also contributing to advancements in science through a PhD focused on single-cell RNA sequencing and immunology at King's College London, where Deniz earned both a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master's degree. Previous roles include a Visiting Scholar at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and a researcher in various labs, including the Morgan Tumour Immunology Lab at the University of Bristol and GSK. Deniz's commitment to philanthropic efforts includes a pledge to donate 5% of earnings from Prolific to charity.
