Laura McKerracher, CFE, currently serves as a Fraud Specialist at Founders Federal Credit Union, responsible for investigating fraud claims, maintaining knowledge of fraud trends, and developing strategies to mitigate fraud risks. Laura also collaborates with senior leadership to foster an anti-fraud culture through enhanced employee training and recognition of fraud prevention efforts. Previously, Laura held the position of Bankruptcy Specialist, managing accounts in bankruptcy and coordinating legal actions. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Branch Operations Coordinator at M&T Bank, overseeing branch compliance and risk management, and various roles in relationship banking focused on customer experience and sales processes. Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
