Steve Blank is currently a member of the Department of the Navy's Science and Technology Board, providing expert advice on various domains including scientific and technical innovation. As a founding faculty member at Stanford University's Gordian Knot Center for National Security Innovation and an adjunct professor, Steve teaches courses on technology, innovation, and global competition, while also co-authoring works on related subjects. Steve serves as an advisory board member at Applied Materials and has held leadership roles in curriculum development for the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. Additional academic contributions include lecturing at Imperial College London, Columbia Business School, UC Berkeley, and New York University, alongside a brief tenure at the United States Department of Defense's Defense Business Board.
