Ro Welch is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in customer experience, sales, and marketing within the travel retail industry. As the Founder and CXO of Lightning since November 2021, Ro Welch has focused on enhancing customer experience, while previously holding significant roles at Black Pepper Software, including Head of Sales, Marketing and Customer Success. Prior experience also includes a directorial position at CliffordWelch Airline Retail Consultants and a Commercial Manager role at Novo Ivc - Airline Retail, where Ro Welch worked with prominent airline clients such as British Airways and Virgin Atlantic. Ro Welch holds a postgraduate degree in Innovation & Business Leadership from the University of Warwick and has completed executive education in Digital Transformation Strategies at Cambridge Judge Business School.
