Ryan Dwyer

Research Partner at Foundations for Social Change

Ryan Dwyer is a seasoned researcher specializing in social psychology with a focus on the impact of cash transfers for people experiencing homelessness. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Happier Lives Institute since September 2022, Ryan has also held the position of Research Partner at Foundations for Social Change since August 2019. Prior to this, Ryan contributed as a Research Partner at the New Leaf Project, which was instrumental in developing the world's first randomized controlled trial (RCT) on cash transfers for the homeless. Ryan's academic foundation includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master's Degree in Social Psychology from The University of British Columbia, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
